Policy and Public Affairs Executive

Salary: £165-£185 per day

Location: Chancery Lane, London (Hybrid)

Contract: 3 month day rate / ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Support the clients parliamentary and political engagement strategy, maintaining relationships with government, Parliamentarians, and non-government bodies.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies for organisation members, partners, and relevant government departments.
• Assist the Senior Public Affairs and Policy Manager in coordinating a cohesive policy program to enhance the companies influence.
• Contribute to the broader initiatives of the Directorate as required.

Requirements:

• Strong political awareness and understanding of the Parliamentary process.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and clients, fostering engagement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Clear and concise writing style with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
• Self-motivation and composure under pressure.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with the fitness/leisure industry.
• Knowledge of the UK health landscape.
• Passion for physical activity and/or sport.
