EMR are delighted to be working with one of our clients to support them with their search to hire a Brand Manager who will join them on a fixed term contract basis for a 12 month duration. Our client is a leading global specialist pharmaceutical and luxury skincare company with their UK office based in Egham in Surrey.

Reporting directly into the Director of Branding Strategy & Creative, as an experienced marketing and brand professional your remit will be to take the lead on customer segmentation, brand specific positioning and brand marketing, along with carrying out various engagement projects globally.

Our client operates a very generous hybrid working model consisting of two days office attendance and the remainder working remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an organisation that positively impacts and improves lives and health care, during an exciting time of growth and with a very healthy pipeline of new products to be launched in the future.

As the newly appointed Brand Manager your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Developing and executing brand strategies to drive brand awareness, equity and growth across our clients owned, paid and earned channels.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure they are aligned with brand strategies across product development, marketing and events.

  • Carry out reviews of existing customer segmentation work and redefine if the needs of the business change.

  • Lead on all media planning and buying globally utilising existing relationships with media owners and negotiating rates.

  • Review existing brand partnerships strategy. Select, develop and drive brand partnership initiatives forward for the business globally.

  • Develop and deliver brand specific marketing strategies and campaigns for our client's brand.

  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives using data driven insights to inform and drive future decision-making.

  • Liaise with scientific and technical teams to establish and distil concepts for briefing the creative teams

  • Lead on messaging and communications for advertising campaigns and press releases in close liaison with the VP of Communications.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. To include internal teams and external partners including event suppliers, brand partners and media owners

As the newly appointed Brand Manager, your previous skill sets, experience and attributes will include :

  • Proven expertise and experience developing core marketing activities over time, ideally working with complex concepts in an international Exposure to luxury/fashion/consumer healthcare is preferred, but not essential.

  • Experience leading marketing teams, including developing people, infrastructure and tools necessary for long-term success

  • A strong understanding of online retail/e-commerce and targeted advertising across digital platforms, including use of metrics and analytics tools.

  • A demonstrated hands-on approach to marketing, leading campaigns from the front and actively contributing work alongside strategy

  • Natural and honed creative talent, capable of capturing and communicating novel ideas to varied

  • Leadership within a fast moving organisation, a recognised entrepreneurial streak and experience engaging audiences across multiple regions internationally.
