Job Description

Are you a senior level PR professional with extensive agency side experience?

Do you feel that there is a lack of progression and development opportunities in your current agency?

Does the prospect of joining an agency in growth phase, excite you?

EMR is working with a London based boutique public relations and communications agency who create tailored PR and marketing solutions to organizations either in the start up or scale up stages of their growth journeys. Due to expansion and growth, we are supporting them with their search to hire a Senior PR Account Director, who will be responsible for managing a number of key client relationships, predominantly in the technology sectors. This could be anything from AI, financial technology, climate technology and deep technology.

In addition to managing your client portfolio, you will have responsibility for guiding providing leadership and direction for up to 3 direct reports. As an experienced and senior level public relations professional who has gained their experience agency side, you will be the sounding board for the senior leadership team to look to you around where the business should be gaining knowledge and securing new clients in the future.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a growing and flourishing public relations agency who have won an array of industry sector awards for their work and for the unique benefits it offers it's employees.

As the newly appointed Senior PR Account Director, in addition to your salary, you will enjoy the following benefits :

  • Hybrid working- 2 days a week in the office (Tuesday is the core day and a day of your choice).
  • Core hours between 9.30am & 5.30pm with earlier start and finish times if needed to fit around personal obligations.
  • 4.5 day working week (Half day on Friday).
  • 25 days holiday excluding Xmas.
  • Health & Wellbeing budgets

  • Volunteering Days.

As the newly appointed Senior PR Account Director, your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Take the lead on 5 retained client briefs and be the main key point of contact for clients.
  • Maintain and develop the effectiveness of client accounts by putting in place strategies, securing consistent media coverage and developing an nurturing journalist relationships.
  • Play an instrumental part in developing and expanding client briefs along with future proofing them.
  • Taking on separate and taking the lead on the strategy whilst and managing your client briefs.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through your network and proactive outreach and seeking out account briefs you'd enjoy working on and building connections
  • Leading a team of 2-3 direct reports and developing their skills and supporting them with their career growth.

As the newly appointed Senior PR Account Director you will have over 6 years extensive public relations and communications experience gained agency side, and will be operating at a senior level.

You may have experience with working with technology focused clients, or working with either start ups or companies in the process of scaling.
