Are you interested in leading a trade marketing team at one of the best businesses in the media space, with a website ranked number 7 in terms of popularity in the UK?
This role will drive the marketing team's support of our various sales teams and build better relationships with our customers through communications that are clever, creative and timely.
As the business grows, the fortunate candidate will lead a team to create even more opportunities and greater potential for their customers. They are looking for talented, passionate marketers committed to help them capitalise on opportunities. Landing the messages with clarity and impact you'll need to be passionate about helping customers make better decisions about the way they use their products.
You will also need to be capable of leading a trade team of seven as well as managing and prioritising a varied workload.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business to deliver the best support to help the customers grow and support our sales efforts across our whole business
- Tailoring communications to the customer segments across business need and market influence
- Managing trade marketing projects from insight to evaluation
- Developing a team of seven; helping them to succeed as a team and as individuals
- Producing high quality marketing support for our sales teams - e.g. POS, videos, presentations, etc.
Requirements
- Solid experience of a marketing role in a B2B2C role
- Clear understanding of what it takes to work through entrepreneurial customers and do what is right for them.
- Track record of getting things done ( delivering, not just creating plans on PowerPoint!)
- Action oriented with a desire to do bold work. You should not be afraid of mistakes you can learn from
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, natural inquisitiveness and ability to ask the right questions.
As we receive such a high volume of applications every day, regretfully, we are only able to respond to successful candidates who will be contacted within two working days.
We wish you the best of luck with your search.
