Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
A global entertainment and educational brand is now looking to open its new venue here in London. This role works closely with the CMO and the General Manager to build brand awareness and drive customers to their new venue.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the General Manager, this role is crucial in aligning marketing efforts with overall organisational goals, including cultivating brand partnerships with tourism boards. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in the launch of our newest site in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote exhibitions.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and opportunities for growth.
* Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with relevant brands, tourism boards, and educational institutions.
* Collaborate with external partners to create co-branded campaigns and promotional activities.
* Oversee the creation of engaging digital content for various platforms.
* Manage social media accounts to build and maintain a strong online presence.
* Work with a digital agency to execute digital marketing activities.
* Manage budgets and oversee agency spend for digital marketing initiatives.
* Coordinate press releases, media coverage, and other PR initiatives to increase awareness.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive ticket sales, memberships, and merchandise.
* Provide regular sales and revenue reports to the management team.
* Take a lead role in planning and executing the launch of our newest site in London.
* Coordinate marketing efforts specific to the London location, ensuring a successful introduction to the community.
* Work closely with marketing agencies to implement digital strategies for the site launch.
* Implement and manage systems for sales and marketing reporting.
* Analyse and present data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
* Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.
* Work closely other regional museum staff to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in a venue which sells ticketed events or hospitality and entertainment.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and analytics.
* Experience working with marketing agencies to execute digital activities.
* Proven ability to create and interpret sales and marketing reports.
* Experience managing budgets and overseeing agency spend.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with London's cultural landscape and audience preferences.
